Top tips for planning.
Planning your wedding does not have to be as stressful as you think.
Firstly, take it one step at a time. Put together a wedding planning list and do things one by one, in a logical order. Don't hire any vendors before you've confirmed your date; don't design your cake before you've envisioned your flowers; and don't book a band before you've settled on a space.
Check out a few of the top tips below to help make this exciting time as fun and enjoyable as possible.
Decide what kind of wedding you and your partner want, how many people, what kind of theme or look and feel. This will help decide the vendors you are looking for.
Book a date…the whole thing will form around this.
Get your budget locked down. How much, who is paying for what and what are the important elements that you are willing to pay the big bucks for (think dress, venue, celebrant, florals, food & photographer)
You know those big things you just thought about, BOOK THEM EARLY! This way you can have exactly what you want, without having to compromise if they are not available. Most vendors are booked months to years in advance.
Takes notes at all of your vendor meetings, this will help to alleviate any unnecessary back and forth emails/calls.
Also don’t forget if in doubt, just book me in as your celebrant and ill help with the rest…
